What are the key ingredients in Calmosine Breastfeeding?

Calmosine Breastfeeding contains Passiflora, a plant traditionally used known for its calming properties, Fenugreek to help maintain milk production, Dog rose for fighting fatigue, Biotin or Vitamin B8 to help maintain normal skin and mucous membranes and Magnesium for supporting a normal nervous system function.

How do I use Calmosine Breastfeeding?
Consume 2 sachets undiluted; one in the morning and one late afternoon. Calmosine Breastfeeding can be used for as long as necessary.
Can I use Calmosine Breastfeeding before my baby is born?
Calmosine Breastfeeding is not recommended during pregnancy.
I am struggling to breastfeed, where can I get help?
Learning to breastfeed can take a few attempts or days, don’t worry, its normal! Try and relax, take yourself and baby to a calm quiet environment and persist.  If you are struggling or your baby isn’t wetting at least 6 – 12 nappies a day you should speak to your doctor or health visitor as soon as possible. Don’t suffer in silence – remember that a lot of mums have the problems you’re having. How common is colic?
According to the NHS colic affects approximately 1 in 5 babies.
What are the general symptoms associated with digestive discomfort?

If your baby displays any of these symptoms they may be suffering with digestive discomfort: intense bouts of crying, red flushed face when they cry, clenching their fists when they cry, drawing their knees in tightly when they cry, arching their back whilst crying, rumbly tummy or wind, crying for a period of hours in the late afternoon or evening.

How do I care for a baby with digestive discomfort?

The following strategies are thought to be effective ways of helping to relieve the discomfort: Gently massaging baby’s tummy, burping them after feeds, bathing them in warm water, gently rocking them over your shoulder, holding them during bouts of crying and preventing them from swallowing air by holding them upright during feeds.

What causes colic?
The exact cause of colic is unknown though it is thought to be linked to digestion problems.
What is the first step I should take if I think my child is suffering from colic?
In the first instance you should always speak to your health visitor or GP if you suspect your baby may be suffering from colic.
What are the key ingredients in Calmosine Digestion?
Calmosine contains Fennel for aiding smooth digestion, Lime Flower which is known for its calming and soothing properties and Orange Blossom to provide a delicate fragrance.
Does Calmosine Digestion contain any preservatives?

No, the product contains no preservatives and is certified Organic.

How do I use Calmosine Digestion?
Each sachet measures 5ml. These can be consumed to a maximum of 6 times a day and should be fed to your baby undiluted before each meal.
Can colic be prevented?
Prevention is difficult due to the exact cause of the condition not being known. You can employ the ‘caring for a colicy baby’ strategies listed above to help prevent the condition.
Can I keep the Calmosine Digestion sachet in the fridge after use?
No, the sachet must be discarded once opened.

Sleep

Why is my child struggling to sleep?
Separation anxiety and lack of routine are the most common reasons for sleep problems in children. Separation anxiety will typically kick in at around the ages of 5 – 6 months.
What are the most common sleep problems?
Falling asleep is a difficulty particularly associated with children from 3 years of age upwards. Babies and children can also suffer from challenges waking in the morning due to excessive tiredness caused by a lack of sleep. Nightmares, waking in the night and co-sleeping are also common sleep issues.
Are there strategies I can use to help my child sleep?
You can employ the following parenting techniques to assist your child in getting a good night’s sleep: set a consistent bedtime, begin a 20 minute winding down routine prior to bedtime, limit the time you spend tucking your child in, give them their favourite dummy or toy, keep a light on if necessary and leave a water beaker within easy reach, limit use of blue light emitting devices such as computers and phones as well as TV, take your child back to bed with minimum fuss if they get up, try to retain a routine.

Calmosine Sleep should be consumed pure or diluted in a small amount of water in the evening before bed. It can be taken for a period of weeks and used going forward as necessary.
